How to "cook" ramen without "heating"


Most people think that hot water is necessary to make ramen. Now, when I was away from the heat source, I ate ramen noodles at camping trip, car trip, and many other times.

Ramen noodles usually take 3 minutes to cook. You simply say that you are ready to eat the noodle package in at least 2 cups of boiling water and within 3 minutes.

In order to "cook" the ramen, you need to fully absorb the water until they become soft. Heat helps to promote this process, but it is absolutely not necessary. Ramen can absorb cold water as easily as warm water. The main difference is that it will take time. There is a short guide to help boil ramen with heat:

1. Look for a container holding at least 12 ounces or 16 ounces of water.

2. Put the packet of noodles in the container

3. Fill container with cold water

4. Wait 30 minutes

5. Mix into seasoning

6. Please enjoy!

That's it. It's pretty straightforward. I discovered that it is enough time for noodles to become completely soft for 30 minutes. Sometimes, I may wait up to an hour. The length of time can vary depending on the temperature of the water. If it is extremely cold, it will take more time than slimy. If you are in a hurry, just check it.

Of course, this whole way presumes you do not mind eating cold noodles, but I felt as tasty as when it was cold When they are hot.
