Help your child change lifestyle
17% of children in the United States are obese. It's over 12 million children. This is not overweight, it does not count what is not a sign of obesity. These children need our help, but how do you help them?
Doctor : This is the first step before a diet plan is set up. Some medical conditions can contribute to child weight problems. Being obese may cause several medical conditions.
Nutritionist : Stumble on a child's meal is a bit more complicated than adult. As children are still growing, nutrition is important. Nutritionists will help you understand the importance of calorie needs, foods that maximize nutrition per calorie, vitamin / mineral supplements are important.
Dieticians can also teach how to find recipes and plan menus. A diet does not necessarily mean that a child is hungry, but it means a change in food.
Help children : Helping children help themselves is an important key to a successful diet plan. Please explain what is going on and what kind of changes will be made. Please bring children to the supermarket and show me what replaces high calorie snacks.
Set up reasonable goals and reward children for meeting. Of course, food is not a reward, but probably going out to the park to play the ball is smooth. Choosing aggressive reward also benefits by encouraging exercise.
