Fighting sports for our children


As a modern parent, we try to do everything to grow so that our children are happy and healthy. Happiness can grow for safety and health is achieved by physical activity.

Registering a child to martial arts training may be very beneficial. A legitimate training program will also help you respect, train and even nurture power. Respect and discipline is important, but the power is unique in that children who are confident in martial arts skills are more likely to defend themselves against bullying and attackers.

This of course evokes the topic of violence. Many forms of martial arts incorporate weapons training into their programs. For example, you can use weapons such as escullib bars, swords, nunchaks. This is where respect and discipline are effective. Children should never use unnecessary power and should be instructed to use training as self defense only. Fortunately, there are many styles to choose from. Some examples are Karatedo, Taekwondo, Kung Fu, Judo, Jiu-Jitsu, Hapkid, Ninjutsu, Kendo etc. Karate, kung fu, taekwondo are the best choice for children who enjoy training with their feet, punching, kicking and even competitive in tournaments. Judo and Jiu-Jitsu are a bit more "practical", including grappling and throwing. This would be appropriate for children enjoying being active on their feet and mats.

Hapkid is a type of self-defense that usually incorporates weapons training. Depending on what your child wants from martial arts training, this may be the format to go.

Ninjutsu is probably the most interesting child for children, thanks to the well-known ninja uniform and a wonderful ninja weapon. This may be a form that makes children interested in martial arts training first, and the child could probably move to a different form of training formation there.

All Kendo is a sword. This style probably will be most suitable for mature children as extended sword training involves it. Fortunately, training can be done with wooden swords that are effective for practice and training.

No matter what format you choose, your child knows to benefit from martial arts training. Of course, it is necessary for the children to know that they are fulfilling their responsibilities by learning about self defense and weapons training. Training should be used wisely and properly, and parents should be involved. If you strengthen discipline and respect the respect you have learned, your child will succeed in his training.
