Childhood obesity – to begin early

Yesterday there was an interesting experience. I was waiting to pick up my 3 – year – old granddaughter from a public classroom special class. While I was waiting, the school came out and the kids started running around the front lawn. Many of them were overweight, there were quite a few.

One of the children was walking with his father and was talking about afternoon snacks. They were trying to eat popcorn. I have nothing to do with popcorn, but without it, the air splashes without salt, butter, or other additives and is not healthy. I do not think children are willing to eat air at popcorn.

Eating habits : What we eat when children grow up will now be decided. If possible, mastering good habits needs to start with a cradle. It is necessary to ensure that our children eat healthy balanced diet.

You may think that you do not know how difficult it is. I have two moms and two grandmothers. I know what happens when a child does not like all genres of food and food. Trying is still important.

Healthy snacks : Some children enjoy raw fruits and vegetables. Some may like whole wheat bread. Not all of them do. We must use the imagination (and sometimes the internet) to find what they eat. It may require effort, but it is worth it.

Make sure about lunch : Another happened yesterday. Our granddaughter did not eat lunch. I do not know the reason, but she did not mind.

As children grow older, it really does not change. Packing and buying an unfed eating lunch means that the child craves for something and probably can not wait until supper. If your child is eating tight food, please help your child pick up lunch and purchase and pack. We were lucky. Our granddaughter was a big fan of raw vegetables and helped eat the super bowl vegetables.
